Stomach

Strangely, I think these 2 years away and off of campus food has done my stomach a world of good. Whenever I have an attack anymore (very rare, I had one the other night, and couldn't remember when I had one before.) it's not a mystery as to why, nor is it persistent.

I think a project for next semester will be coming off of the medication, as I really don't like being on something that I don't think has a purpose.

...and costs a month of rent for a 2 month supply...

Anyway, just finished a paper, now running off to class to read right before it...
Le sigh.

Work tomorrow, have to be on the road @ 7:15.

Work the next day, have to be on the road @ 5:15.

yuk.

Blue Ash Rec Center

I heard from Dan Breen and Rick Lykins that the Blue Ash Rec Center and was a good value for people who work in Blue Ash. Mom and I toured it on Saturday and it is all really new, clean and really quiet. I went ahead and got a family membership.

Obviously, it is super convenient for me (less than a mile). It works for Mom because it is near Fleet Feet and it has a nice hot tub and sauna for those cold winter nites coming up.

It also has a climbing wall - since Phil already has a safety harness, he should be able to waltz right in.

yay glasses

Yay glasses!

thanks mom!!!!

I am working the akron marathon this year apparently...just found out today (tried to call my mother who doesn't answer...), while getting my courage up for yelling at hughies audio visual, for not sending my check yet.

I got it straightened out. should be here next week...hopefully.

I'm glad dad is joining the new age. Soon, he'll cut his return time on emails down to maybe 2 months or so. :P

Meanwhile,my crack team of genius professors won't let me get started on a production assignment that is pretty much mine, but they are so politically entangled it's seriously approaching the book Catch 22.

Anyway, outside work is starting to heat up, and my volunteer(theater) work isn't. My boss won't even let me know about applying for my job that I had last semester that netted me about 600$ a month so I'm picking up more and more freelancing work...

This is easily the rockiest any semester has ever started. Everyone is angry at the faculty for doing a far subprime job, and they are angry at us for disrespecting them...I see a rocky year ahead, if I stick my head in the theater anymore...

I'm getting Rachel's graduation/christmas present together here shortly, I've got a lot of really good surprises, I won't post any here in case she finds it...

Hooray for me

All -

Here I am moving into the 21st century. I never thought I would blog. What's next - a proper facebook page ??

That said, the LCD on my cell phone when south. I was going to upgrade, but the guy at the verizon store got the screen back (somewhat unintentionally since I paid for the new one and noticed it when he was converting the contact list) so I got to keep it. I like my phone because that is all it is....

I am old and am getting to like it more and more.

Got Phil's glasses

they look quite nice!

You'll need to go get them adjusted to your face at a nearby Thoma and Sutton. I enclosed some possible addresses based on what is closest to you.

I'll put them in the mail at the post office tomorrow. Fed Ex to your apt address.

I have to get my passport at the post office at the same time. Going to Mexico Oct 6 ish. Then hope to fly to Interlochen for parents weekend.

Heard Jo had a better SECOND day of classes than FIRST. It's gotta be hard to adjust to all the new stuff.

Love you both!

Howdy all

So,
I'm getting everything set for our production year, I love the rush of running at full tilt getting everything set and drumroll please...

I am organized.

It's been a long hard road to get myself in this mode, but it works real well.

On a health note, my wrist is bothering me a lot and am going to see a doctor at the health center soon.

I am so busy this year it isn't funny, I'm trying to make a lot of money and knock out coursework for when rachel comes so I won't be busy. We'll see how that goes.

I have to create a dance portfolio (from almost scratch) by next Wednesday.
I have a mega show with a brand new rookie crew chief on thursday.
I have schoolwork to do.
I have to read '14' for stage management
I have to read plato's phaedo
I have to do laundry
I have to see the doctor for my wrist
I need to reapply for my old comp lab job
I need to reapply for a theater electrician job

I hope to get my check from hughies
I hope to get my new glasses soon

Anyway,
I'm back off to schoolwork,
Phil

Thanks, Phil!

Thanks, Phil!

A bit of good news is that Jo got into the advance Music Theory class. Yay!

OK, your turn for a nice update. ;-)

I personally turned all my mothering instincts to making soup. Julie Beatty has a broken arm, my friend James has swine flu, Angie has a blood clot, my Mom had heart surgery on Monday but it doing well now.

I'm still coughing but will get the name of a good ENT to try to figure out what in the heck is going on.

Looking forward to a three day week and the final bit of AirCombat mediaextravaganza and the fan disk overspeed presentation to the FAA.
